The CARE Crew
The CARE crew is a collection of children who work alongside Miss Nugent (headteacher) to ensure that our school vision and Christian Values are lived and embedded in school by our children.
Their role is to work alongside Miss Nugent to:
- Plan collective worship - ensuring that they cover a range of Christian values, opportunities for SMSC and British values
- Assist in the delivery of some collective worship
- Lead class collective worship, using Picture News, linked to current events.
- Help to evaluate collective worship through pupil voice
- Ensure collective worship is inclusive, inspiring and invitational
- Help to develop an outside reflective space and indoor prayer spaces
- Help with prayer spaces, lunchtime prayer club and spirituality days.
- Develop and implement the John Wesley Award for living through CARE in the community.
- Be active ambassadors for our school vision and Christian ethos.
I want to spread a Christian message and teach others how to live better lives through CARE.
